Certificates

I believe that supporting others means continually learning, growing, and deepening my understanding. Over the years, I’ve gained a number of certificates that strengthen the work I do and help me create safe, informed spaces for anyone who visits Little Big Minds.

Mental Health & Wellbeing

  • Level 2 Certificate in Children and Young People’s Mental Health
This gave me the foundations to understand the challenges young people face, and how mental health issues can affect learning, relationships, and everyday life.

Neurodiversity Awareness

  • Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Autism
Developed my knowledge of autism spectrum conditions, communication differences, and strategies to offer respectful, person-centred support.

  • Level 2 Certificate in Understanding ADHD
Built on my awareness of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, exploring how it affects focus, behaviour, and daily routines—and how to support people living with it.

Safeguarding & Inclusion

  • Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Bullying in Children and Young People
Focused on the different forms of bullying, the impact it leaves behind, and how to create environments that feel safe, inclusive, and supportive.

Little Big Minds is not a replacement for professional healthcare. But it is a space where lived experience and ongoing learning meet—a place designed to listen, support, and signpost with care.
